Meet Our Articling Student

Harleen is an articling student with interests in civil litigation, corporate and commercial law, construction law, family law, wills and estate planning, and tax law. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta and completed her undergraduate studies in economics and accounting. Her background in business and law has shaped her practical approach to legal issues and the financial and personal considerations affecting her clients.

Throughout law school, Harleen was actively involved with Student Legal Services of Edmonton, serving as a Day Leader with the Civil and Family Law Projects. She assisted members of Edmonton’s low-income community while developing her skills in client advocacy, legal research, negotiation, and dispute resolution. Harleen was also involved with the Law and Business Association, helping organize initiatives that connected law students with the legal and business communities.

Harleen views the practice of law as one of continuous learning, with each matter offering an opportunity to expand her knowledge and better serve her clients. She is committed to understanding her clients’ circumstances and objectives, providing practical advice, and ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout the legal process.

Outside the office, Harleen enjoys staying active through fitness and tennis and makes the most of Edmonton winters by skiing and skating. She also enjoys travelling, exploring different cuisines and restaurants, getting lost in a good book or movie, and spending time with family and friends.
